Primary Election – If more than one Democrat stands for election for the same office, a primary election is held. Should this be the case, the Democratic Primary Election for federal offices takes place on June 26, while the Democratic Primary Election for state offices takes place on September 13. The polls open at NOON and close at 9:00 pm.

General Election – There is a General Election each year on the First Tuesday after November 1. The date this year is November 6. Polls open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.*

To register by mail download and print a registration form from the link here. You can also call to request a registration form by mail. If there is a Primary Election you must be registered by August 18 or for the General Election by October 13, 2017.

How do I get an absentee ballot? Stop in to the Board of Election to complete an application and receive your ballot OR call to request an application by mail and to learn deadline dates.
